Is the UK getting SG-1 ahead of the US now? Is that why people were only just talking about the Claudia Black episode? I'm so out of the Stargate loop.
Thoughts on todays episode: Surely Daniel can't be dead again. How many times can someone die?! I refuse to believe he's going to be dead for good (again). Humph. This is because I took my Daniel magnet to work today isn't it. Stupid T-1000 Replicator Carter. Actually, the Freak of the Week in Smallville yesterday had the same ability to turn his limbs into metal knives. Co-incidence? Or are the replicators invading Smallville?
In other news - Sheppard is mensa smart. How can Rodney resist him now he knows that? He can't.

1. Girl crushes on smart Rodney.
2. Sheppard jealously asks which bed Rodney will be sleeping in.
3. Rodney briefly crushes on girl because girl is smart.
4. Rodney sees how smart John is.
5. Rodney crushes on John.
6. Girl turns out to be treacherous.
7. Rodney learns lesson and decides to stop crushing on anyone but John.
That's exactly how it happened.
I bet Daniel will come back as Super!Daniel with all his Ascended memories back. Because otherwise how can he stop himself being ripped apart slowly in the vacuum of space? Something will happen, he'll still be alive, but he'll be kick-ass. That's my prediction.

And those are my thoughts in response to yours. I was very happily entertained by both SG-1 and Atlantis this week and last. Yay! It's a bit like old times.
We must be ahead of the US. Did they have a hiatus, the way they used to with Buffy and Angel?

Ba'al is sexy. And that reminds me that the thing I forgot to put in this post was that he reminds me of Kevin from the Backstreet Boys so much I can't stop calling him Kevin in my head.

Actually, did he say what bed, or which? Which would imply all sorts of fun things...
We're both so right and anyone who doesn't agree is wrong.
I imagine Super!Daniel will have to wear his pants outside his trousers. I'm sure that's in a rule book somewhere. I rather liked his blue robes in the fake Abydos parts (or wherever). Maybe he could base his Super!Costume on that, go for a sort of Marvel Comic Book Hero/Bedouin look. It's all the rage in Ascended circles.
I keep thinking Ba'al was in Xena, and his accent makes it a possibility. My sister and I spend half the time wondering if the South African twang is actually his or the effect of the Goa'uld voice thingy. He could be New Zealand. Must bother to look that up some time. I think Kevin is a good name for him though. Kevin, aka Ba'al. He looked delightfully smug when he pointed out that he was a god. *g*
I do not know. The day I understand American TV scheduling is... well, it's the day I understand it. I'll let you know if that ever happens.

we are just now starting the second half of the Stargate/Atlantis seasons and all of Battlestar Galactica. We have this two or three month hiatus in the middle. It's maddening.

I bet it's very maddening! How come you're still ahead with Atlantis though? Very strange. I know we're usually ahead of the US by the end of the season of SG-1 but I'm sure it's not usually by this much. What's the reasoning behind the break in schedule?
