I saw the season premiere of Lost last night! OMGWTFBBQPOLARBEAR! I spent a large part of the episode going WTF?! Which can only be a good thing. <3 Lost.
Yes, I'm procrastinating to the extreme this morning as I've got so much work to do I don't know where to start. Perhaps I should actually do some work instead of tidying my desk and posting about killer pigeons here. Radical idea eh?

I keep trying to type on my keyboard that I can't be bothered to plug in. D'oh. I've not been on LJ since 9am and I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms. Stupid meetings at work. This evening I've been moving fences, battling with spyware and viruses and watching bits of Lost again. I'd forgotten how unhairy all the men are in the first episode! The continuity people did a pretty good job with the gradual hair gaining - and the women with bleached hair getting roots.
I'm getting all excited now for my trip to Ireland at the end of the month! A week off work! Ireland!
Don't forget - you UK folk that didn't succumb to downloading Lost - it starts next week on channel 4 on Wednesday. That's if the incessant buzz on LJ hasn't put you off it for life! I'm just amazed that a show I love is actually really popular and is in no danger of being cancelled any time soon. It's quite nice!

Yay! Lost renewed for another season! I hope it downloads faster than it did last week or I'll have to smash something. I can watch it on an actual TV tomorrow because I bought a wire to connect my laptop to the telly. It's very exciting.
I bought Alien vs Predator today because I've not seen it yet. Yes, I am that sad. *hides* And my other top steal was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure for only £3! Yay!
And finally, I bring you an April weather report: today started off with rain. Then it was sunny. It hailed giant chunks of ice on the way home from work. Then it absolutely pissed it down with really wet and fine rain so it was like fog while I was at the field. But it was all ok because on the way home from the field was the brightest double rainbow I've ever seen in my entire life. Very beautiful!

There was a coffee morning at work this morning where people bring in cakes etc. I'm not one for worrying about my weight because I really don't need to. But damn. I'm going to be the size of a house-side soon if I don't stop eating so much shit and sitting on my arse all day! Eaten today (not including meals): Two flapjacks, two lemon curd tarts, piece of chocolate cake, a little lemon fairy cake, a bit of a chocolate eclair, four small flake chocolates (they're some new kind of box of chocolates) and three Roses/Quality Streets. I nearly bought a Yorkie in the bus station in town but luckily the bus came... All I can say is that one morning I'm going to wake up to find my magic metabolism will have given up the fight in the night and I'll have turned into one of those people off Jerry Springer where they have to take the side of the house away to get me out of the bed.
I'm currently sitting in bed with my dressing gown hood up and Bill sleeping on my feet. I refuse to freeze to death in my own house.
