Mischief Managed

I had an amazing holiday - so relaxing and in such a nice place. I got back on Saturday and got to spend my birthday with my family and my boyfriend which was lovely. Why did I have to go back to work? D: I fear that my newly relaxed state is going to be sorely tested tomorrow. Ah well. I had a lovely week and it was a really good break from work. I think I may have to cut back on the chocolate and booze now though as I seem to have expanded somewhat. Damn you France and your delicious cheese and wine!

In other news, there'll be new Merlin soon! Awesome!

Ooooh, I've just renewed my paid account and now I've got five new spare icon spaces! *glee*

I was just surfing around Rainbow Brite websites (as you do when you're thinking about unicorns and sparkly, fabulous things) and found an amazing website called The World of 80's Unicorns!. Unfortunately for us all, it was last updated way back in 2000. Back then, it seems red comic sans text on a repeating background of a mostly blue picture was legible. Obviously people's eyes have evolved in the last eight years and we can no longer read it.

I had the pleasure of having a brief visit from the lovely niennah last night. We drank a few bottles of wine and watched some episodes of Freaks and Geeks, and she gave me present from Kenilworth Castle: Merlin's very own Slash Dragon! Or maybe it's the Slash Dragon as a baby.



I just found some pictures on my phone of a weird fungus I saw on a fence post at the horse field in Nottingham. It looks like a hat!
