I haven't gone to bed yet... I was randomly trawling friendsfriends when I came upon a picture of Dominic Monaghan and a leaf mantis. It reminded me somewhat of a picture of myself.



Here's Dominic Monaghan with his pet leaf mantis Gizmo (borrowed from kiltsandlollies journal).




And here's me looking decidedly less pretty with a random grasshopper that jumped on my specs while I was somewhere in New Zealand earlier this year. Thanks to my friend A for the lovely photography.

Yay! I scarred someone for life! Though it's not my fault you recklessly disregarded my cut warning. I knew some would be traumatised by the hideous close up...

*hugs* Sorry for the trauma. In real life people generally have a chance to run away long before they get that close to me.
