I just read a very cute Sirius/Remus fic that reads like cracked out Lemony Snicket. A Girl Like Me by violet_quill. NC-17. So Sirius is straight, huh? Well, if he wants a girl, Remus is bloody well going to give him a girl. It's been written for the genderfuck challenge over on pornish_pixies and it's fab.

I want to point out that due to the influences of moonlight_spike, maryavatar and niannah, I spent a good while last night reading Atlantis slash. Sheppard/McKay to be more specific. Damn.

McShep. It's even got it's own annoying portmanteau. I'm eternally grateful that Sirius/Remus doesn't have one, I think Wandrew scarred me for life.

According to dictionary.com smog is a portmanteau of smoke and fog. I'm learning all kinds of interesting stuff today. LJ is a learning experience indeed.

There was a daft but good one at atlantis_slash that I enjoyed - something about a breacelet making McKay go woozy after Sheppard and Sheppard not minding as much as he should. It's only half finished, though. :(

I read the one that Mary recced over in her journal. Then I looked through this list of moonlight_spike recs. And then I found some others from somewhere I can't remember - one of which sounds remarkably like the one you just described except for it was a drink that made them strange.
