Snape's Worst Memory!

Via various folk on my f-list from mugglenet:

'Order of the Phoenix' casting news
Harry Potter Fan Zone has heard from Enchantment Casting, a British casting agency which represents young actors, that the role of Nymphadora Tonks has been filled by an unknown actress. Apparently she was cast right after casting began. Also, casting for the younger versions of Lily, Snape, Lupin, James, and Sirius is now in the final stages.

Now that we've got confirmation, I don't know whether I'm excited or worried that they're filming the Pensieve scene. What if they get it wrong? What if Sirius looks like the back-end of a bus? I never had to worry about it with PoA because, as we all know, I was one of those annoying people who jumped on the band wagon because of the film. Gary Oldman and David Thewlis were Sirius and Remus for me because I'd never really thought about it much otherwise.

It's really very exciting. Also, I have to admit to relief that Anna Friel isn't Tonks, and also that Kiera Knightley isn't either.

It is exciting! And yes, I'm glad Anna Friel isn't Tonks! I'm glad it's an unknown actor.

Peter must be more difficult to cast than the others! It'll be very bizarre seeing Hogwarts era Marauders on screen.

WORD. I'm kinda worried now, they usually screw up my favorite scenes in the books, and this ismy all time favorite in ALL of them. I'm DOOMED.

Me too. I love Gary so much. I'm a little nervous about who'll they'll cast too, because I have to say that I'm not that enamoured of the actors playing Lily and James. They don't really fit my mental picture, now that I have thought about it. Having said that, I'm very happy that it seems like that scene'll be in, because yay! Marauders!

Ne neither. They look far too old seeing as they're supposed to be in their early twenties. I hope young Lily and James are better cast.

I definitely have a mental image of the young marauders (which has mostly been based on fanon of course) and so I just hope who they go with doesn't clash too badly with that.
