That is just....unfathomable. If there was one thing that I would have thought had to stay in OotP it would Sirius. I don't expect the movies to follow the book completely, in fact I'm happier when they don't, but this has me really puzzled. Could they possibly be thinking of using a different actor? I hope it's just some kind of contract bickering and they get it sorted soon.

I know! They can't cut Sirius out of the story, he's just too integral. Even if they get rid of his entire plotline (!!) - it still leaves Grimmauld Place unexplained. Very, very bizarre.

Bwah! Let's hope that is the case because I will be seriously (omg, I resisted the joke) pissed off if a) there's no Sirius, or b) there's no Gary. They've already cast the young Marauders for the Snape's Worst Memory scene so they must be having adult Sirius in it or it makes no sense.

As someone said above, hopefully it's just contract bickering and Gary's side wants some leverage to up his fee and has resorted to fan pressure on the WB. Which is dastardly but I don't care as long as he's in it.
