I might moan about the bus journey to work but I'm ploughing through books like there's no tomorrow. I finished reading 1610: A Sundial In a Grave by Mary Gentle this morning. I absolutely loved it. I love the historical aspect and how it's interwoven with the fantasy element. But really, the main focus of the book is the relationship between the two main characters. I don't know if I liked it as much as Ash which is one of my favourite books of recent years - I'd like to re-read Ash but my to-read list is about ten miles long at the moment - damn book buying habit.

I see there's a new Mary Gentle book coming out soon.

*gets excited*
