Stupid computers

Aaaaargh. Just had a minor crisis with the sound on my computer. I've been trying for weeks to get DVD's to play properly. There's no sound and the picture's jerky. So today I decided to mess around with drivers. Probably not one of the best ideas I've ever had seeing as I barely know what a driver is - but I just can't help pressing buttons. There was no sound for a while but it seems to be fixed now. DVDs still don't play though! Bollocks and wanky pants.
