Stepping in cold cat sick with bare feet is not my favourite way to start the day.

This morning was my mum's presentation ceremony as she has just finished her advanced countryside management course. It was in a big marquee in the college grounds (and it didn't rain!). She got her certificate and then an award (which was a silver bowl - which she had to give back by two) for being mature student who has made exceptional progress as an adult learner - whatever that means! But we were all very proud of her. It always pains me when they play the national anthem at things like that. At least it wasn't as bad as at my graduation where some people actually sang along. Most people just squirmed as I seem to recall. I don't know many people that know all the words...

I am ridiculously tired for some reason. I was in bed by quarter past ten last night and I feel like going back now.

Also, I made a Spike icon which I will never upload to use. I don't know what came over me.
