ANGST and WOE

I was listening to Muse, the Absolution album, on the way into work this morning and I realised that it's my Sirius/Remus album. Yes, it's teh ANGST and WOE, but also the fact that discovering that album and playing it repeatedly almost exactly coincided with discovering Sirius/Remus. Now I want to make many awful and dreadfully angsty icons covered in Muse lyrics - possibly made in paint with awful loopy text. But I probably won't. Or maybe I'll allow myself one...

Talking of ANGST and WOE, I made a couple of arty pieces for my group challenge at tigannie_con - one Warren/Andrew and one Sirius/Remus. Also on the bus this morning I realised that in both these ships, one half is dead. I'm obviously an angst h0r. But it makes for such bittersweet stuff. Any fluffy Maurauder era fic is coloured by what's going to happen in the future. And Warren/Andrew - there's not many fluffy bunnies down that road...

I am wearing jeans to work today. I didn't think I'd better push it and wear trainers too - yet.

Last night I spent the entire length of a Farscape episode ironing. Yes, that's right - me - ironing! What is the world coming to?

I found skincare cream made from snail secretions. Isn't that a touching story?

I'm going to go to bed before eleven tonight and get at least seven hours sleep. This can only be a good thing.
