A comment from someone in a debate about banning fox hunting (a topic I won't go into) on the BBC website:

Hands off the countryside. We have hunted since our conception either foxes, dinosaurs, people. Why stop now?

I think he might be slightly confused about how long humans have been around. Or maybe he has some information that no one else does...

I've just got home and had time to read the Sirius/Remus essay on ship_manifesto. I've been waiting to read it all day. Just yes. And yes. S/R has infected my brain. I adore the last paragraph about the potential of the pairing. ship_manifesto is a pretty cool community.

Been busy at work this week. I've actually got lots of stuff to do which makes a nice change and makes the day go faster - see, I'm not that lazy!

I need to think about how I'm going to get to Milton Keynes for Collectormania as it's only in just over two weeks! Yay! I can't believe it's come round this fast.

My new copy of Interzone just arrived and it's all strange and glossy now it's produced by a different publisher and team. Smells nice though.

I'm off to read the last few pages of  Perdido Street Station now. Such an amazing book.
