Hobbits!

I got a very late birthday present today from two of my friends today (thanks A!). A life size (or hobbit size!) cardboard cut-out of the four hobbits! I'm not sure where I'm going to put them yet but they're currently standing behind me and freaking me out when I see them out the corner of my eye. Three of them are looking upwards, but Frodo stares straight at you wherever you are. It's quite scary.

I've just watched the last part of Jonathan Miller's Brief History of Disbelief. A really fantastic series and I'm glad I know more about the people that made it possible for me to be an atheist without repercussions. I'm really looking forward to the interview with Richard Dawkins in a related series.
