Mothering Sunday

Spent a large part of today cleaning and doing laundry. I lead an exciting life me. Why is there always so much mud in this house? Very annoying.

I've been listening to loads of speech recordings over on the Collect Britain site. Some of the recordings are from interviews done in 1959 and they're interviewing people who were born in the late nineteenth century. Listen to this one if you want to hear how older people round me talk. This bloke has got a right weird accent. He lived in Devon and was born in 1879. It's really bizarre, kind of Irish.

Is it me, or are there a lot of anonymous trolls around this weekend? I've just seen one over in hp_britglish of all places. o_0

Right, off to watch some Eddie Izzard and then bed I think.
