shoebox_project has the ability to make me weep like a baby. I dare say that had I only discovered Shoebox now, I probably wouldn't bother reading it and would be severely put off by all the skeery fangirls with the 'OMG SHOEBOX UPDATE I HAVEN'T READ YET BUT I WILL COMMENT POINTLESSLY ANYWAY' comments. But as it is, I was sucked in last year and I just can't help but read. And do you know what? It works beautifully the way it is at the moment as a gen fic. After all, it's gen with Lily/James, and I'm a sucker for Lily/James.
Now I really ought to go to bed.
