Sirius's giant flying bike

Everyone is doing this poetry meme: When you see this, post a poem you like on your LJ.

Because I am an uneducated heathen I don't really recall any poems apart from ones I did for GCSE. So for you, my very special f-list, and because I love you, I wrote a haiku:

Remus likes to watch
Sirius fly on his bike
It's very sexy

Are you astonished by my poetical genius? I thought so. I think there should be more Sirius and his giant flying motorbike fic. Remus would chastise him for doing something so dangerous but secretly he loves the way Sirius gets all covered in grease and sweaty in his leathers and flushed from the exhilaration of flying and doing something illegal. Plus, it's a legitimate way to get Sirius into leather! Do you think the penalty would be worse if he was caught flying an illicitly charmed muggle object whilst in his unregistered animagus form? Assuming Padfoot was able to balance on a flying bike of course. I bet he tried it.

*dons pimp hat* niannah has written a really lovely Sirius/Remus fic: Sorrow's End. It's set pre-Lie Low at Lupin's and post-PoA which I haven't read much of before. It's angsty yet hopeful too. <3

I'm going to see Serenity tomorrow! Yay! I've pretty much re-watched the whole lot of Firefly this weekend and I want to see the film now! I wonder if I'll notice whether anything has changed since I last saw it? Did I ever mention the Firefly fandom newsletter the_cortex? Well I have now! It's very useful.

Boy, do I have a lot of communities friended. I thought I'd pimp some of my favourites out to you all just in case you need more clutter on your f-list (some of them aren't actually comms but none of them are personal journals as such).
