Nov. 23rd, 2005 11:20 pmI've just watched the new David Attenborough programme about invertebrates - Life In the Undergrowth. It had some amazing footage of tiny animals (and some not so tiny). The clip of the springtails doing a mating dance is brilliant. They're so tiny - smaller than the head of a pin and they show them in such detail. I spent a good few weeks once mounting springtails onto slides for identification. Trying to pick one up from the surface tension of a pot of alcohol with the tip of a paint brush is one of the most frustrating things I have ever done. They're still very cute though.
I also watched Atlantis. ( wee spoilers for Trinity )
Goblet of Fire - as I said yesterday, i enjoyed it but I'm not sure if I enjoyed it as much as Prisoner of Azkaban ( spoilers )
