(no subject)

I feel like I haven't posted for days but it was only Tuesday! I think I've spent most of the time cold even though it's warmed up outside a bit. It has been pissing it down with rain continually so it's not really an improvement. What else have I done? Been to work, watched Jewel Staite in Atlantis, been wowed by David Attenborough's giant beetles and that's about it.

Gah. I need to brave town tomorrow for Christmas shopping. I'm not looking forward to the crowds. Ooooh - remember, if you want a Christmas card from me just comment on my post. I may even get some cards tomorrow in a crazy fit of preparedness.

He's talking about having lots of meetings in LA at the moment and he says - 'In England if you want to look rough, you go out and get really drunk and come in looking really hungover, but if you do that in America, it's like, "Have you got a drinking problem?"' Hee!

Actually, talking of America - here's a really inane question for the American folks on my f-list - how do you pronounce the word 'realtor' (what we Brits call estate agents)? I always assumed it was said like 'real-tore' but then I heard an American person on the radio say 'ree-al-tore'.

Is LJ still being strange for people? Pages aren't loading properly and I'm sure I'm still not getting all my comment notifications. /inane questions
