Nicked from various folk:

1. My username is odycee. I've gone by the name of Cee online since 1998/1999 - but obviously that, and every other reasonable permutation using underscores etc. wasn't available when I got my LJ in 2003. I can't quite remember now, but I think I'd had odycee as an email address from the end of 2002 because I was watching Odyssey 5 at the time. Hence odycee. Rubbish isn't it.

2. My journal is titled Mischief Managed because it fits in with the Marauders theme of my journal. For those few who are Harry Potterless - it's what you have to say to render the Marauder's Map blank. And no, I'm not explaining what the Marauder's Map is.

3. My journal doesn't have a subtitle. I don't know why - probably because the only place you can see it is my user info. I used to have one that said 'three out of four dentists prefer special hell'.

4. My friends page is called Herbaceous Borders because I was convinced that the Knights of Ni from Monty Python and the Holy Grail wanted herbaceous borders as well as a Shrubbery. When I watched it recently it turns out that they never mention herbaceous borders! It must have just been in the fevered depths of my brain. I haven't changed it though because I like it.

5. My default userpic is my Marauders as animals icon because I like it and it fits in with my current theme. I was going to make one with paw prints like my journal header but then I couldn't be bothered.

I've just been writing Christmas cards. You never know, I may even get around to posting them this week! If you want one and you haven't commented on my card post then go and do it. I command you.

According to lj_maintenance, the comment notification problem should be getting fixed tonight and all the missing comments should appear over the next day. Joy.

And finally, this Goblet of Fire parody by mistful that calvina linked to made me laugh my head off. I know it was posted weeks ago and everyone's probably already seen it but it's so funny you can read it twice.
