robot girlfriends

I'm mostly over this horrible cold now, thank goodness. I'd better not get another one in the next six months or I won't be happy. I seem to go though phases like this where I get colds continuously and it's very tedious.

People are doing that five favourite fics that they've written meme and it's making me feel all nostalgic for my old-skool days on LJ back in 2003/2004 (I can't believe I've been around LJ for that long!). Awww. I never seem to have the time for fic reading at the moment which is sad because it's something I love. I should try to be around on LJ more. I just never seem to have much to post about nowadays, and the more I don't post, the more I can't seem to when I come to it. Maybe it's performance anxiety!

I had to download this week's SG-1 today (and Lost at the weekend) because of Virgin Media taking Sky One away. How much does that suck? We have no come back really and no way to get Sky One back without changing to Sky. I wish Rupert Murdoch and Richard Branson would have their arguments in private and leave the consumers out of it. It's ridiculous. I guess it's not too much trouble for me as I can still watch the shows, but for most people they can't. But yes, SG-1 - one episode left to go. Ever. It's been on since before I went to university and I'll be sad that it's gone. I fell out with it for a while but I've really enjoyed this season.
