new laptop!

Yay bank holiday. I'm very happy at the moment knowing that I'm not at work tomorrow!

Haven't posted for a good few days because I've been setting up my new laptop! I decided I'd had my old one with the broken sound for far too long so I got myself a shiny new Dell that's purple and lovely. I am having to contend with Vista so doing things like figuring out how to even turn the thing off properly (the off icon doesn't seem to mean off any more - what?!) has been slightly annoying but I think I'm almost there now. All very exciting! I can listen to music without headphones or speakers! Hurrah! I'm definitely going to try very hard to not blow up the sound card on this one...


Also - no Doctor Who yesterday. :( Now I love Eurovision as much as the next person, but delaying my Doctor Who fix? NOT ON. Although I must admit to quite enjoying the pirate song (Lithuania?).
