I think there's a possibility that I may be able to get a permanent position where I'm working at the moment. I said I'd be available for at least a year. It will be nice to have a job where I know that they can't turn round and say - sorry we don't need you anymore after today.

Francis Crick died today aged 88. Blimey. I once had a dream about going to visit Watson and Crick for a cup of tea. Unfortunately they lived in a little shack on the top of a vertical hill. Climbing up the hill with my finger tips was not the most fun I could have had in a dream. But it was all worth it when I got to the top.
