I made it into work today! Hurrah! That's three days wasted being mostly in bed. And I must have been out of it if I wasn't motivated enough to watch Sunset Beach at half past ten in the morning - I was far too busy sleeping. Stupid body.

ETA: Oh god. I've got to decide whether I'm going to the work Christmas party in December. Is there a polite way to say 'I'd rather poke out my own eye with a rusty fork'?

Edited again: Is it wrong of me to have a bit of a crush on ultra head boss man of the whole department who I've never spoken to, just because he happens to wear Gary Oldman glasses?

I actually feel awake for the first time in about four days. Yay!

I am a happy little bookworm today because:

a) I just finished the new Pratchett. <3
b) I just bought the new Iain M Banks book.
c) I just bought the new China Mieville book.

Consequently:

d) I am very poor.

And:

e) Undecided as to what I should read next.

Bill is trying to throw himself out of my first floor bedroom window (that's second floor for you crazy folks on the other side of the sea). Oh, he's decided that helping me type is a better idea now. I think he may want food...
